Our faith based safe living homes are operated by Alaska Correctional Ministries Inc. The mission of these homes is to provide a Christ-centered living environment that includes peer accountability and structure for up to 14 residents who have been released from prison and are returning to the community.
Within this multi-phased program services include case management, substance abuse/relapse prevention classes, counseling, family reunification, financial planning and referral services related to employment, transportation, food and clothing.

Most individuals residing in these Safe Living homes are on Probation or Parole. Residents pay rent of $600.00 per month which includes all utilities, and food and clothing that has been donated by various organizations.

The New Hope Safe Living Home for women is located in east Anchorage and the New Horizons Safe Living Home is in west Anchorage.
The most urgent need for those being released from prison is safe and affordable housing. Our homes are a safe refuge and provide numerous resources and support as our residents adjust to life in the free world.

How can you help?
Transportation, clothing, food, personal care baskets, appliances, furniture, mentor a resident and help with classes and Bible studies.
