Please RSVP to Stephanie Reese at stephanie.reese@alaska.gov or call (907) 269-7414 so that we are able to prepare sufficient amount of training materials.

Click on the PDF box above for the Religious Volunteer Application and fax or mail to Stephanie Reese at the DOC Chaplaincy Office if you have NOT already completed one.
Please ask your pastor or minister to complete the Reference Evaluation form. (The reference form may be waived for Professional Clergy—please submit copy of Clergy ordination/credentials.)
Once the necessary forms have been received by the Department of Corrections, a criminal history background check will be completed.
Religious volunteer authorization cards will be mailed to attendees as soon as the application process is completed.
Thank you for your willingness to provide religious services to those behind bars. We look forward to seeing you at this training as we discuss important issues, rules and regulations, and other vital information related to your prison ministry involvement.
